I'm a lifelong Cary, North Carolina resident and have watched Cary and the Triangle transform over more than six decades. This isn't simply a market I work in; it's home. I know the communities, the history, and the changes that have shaped this area because I've lived through them.
My background is a little different from the typical real estate agent. I spent 15 years serving in the U.S. Army, including as an Army Ranger, and I've spent much of my professional career in high-level sales, sales leadership, training, finance, and negotiation. I've worked in high-pressure environments for most of my life, and I've learned that preparation, communication, and the ability to stay calm when things get complicated matter far more than putting on a good sales pitch.
That's also why my approach to real estate isn't based on high-pressure selling. I believe my job is to give clients honest advice, tell them what they need to hear, even when it isn't necessarily what they want to hear, and give them the information and strategy they need to make a confident decision.
What makes me different is probably the combination of all of it: deep roots in the Triangle, decades of sales and negotiation experience, military leadership, and a very straightforward approach to doing business. I'm comfortable negotiating aggressively when the situation calls for it, but I don't believe every situation needs to become a battle.
Whether I'm representing a luxury property, helping someone sell the home they've lived in for decades, or working with a buyer on their next move, my philosophy is pretty simple: tell the truth, know your job, protect your client's interests, and do what you said you were going to do.
